Bosniak civilians were detained and beaten in the Kozila wood-processing company, near the village of Drinić close to Bosanski Petrovac. Some detainees lost consciousness due to beatings in summer 1992.

In 1992, the Serb authorities in Bosanski Petrovac detained Bosniak and Croat civilians in eight detention facilities: the Kozila camp, the Bosanski Petrovac Public Security Station (SJB), the sports centre, the bus station, a hotel, Jasikovac, Vrtoč, and the Oštrelj workers’ barracks. In early July 1992, approximately 30 Bosniaks from Bosanski Petrovac were transported by bus approximately 20 kilometres away to the construction site of the Kozila wood processing company, near the village of Drinić. At least 80 Bosniaks were detained at the Kozila camp. (para. 497. Brđanin, p. 181.), (para. 424. Krajišnik, p. 161.)
The detainees in the Kozila camp were subjected to beatings and other forms of mistreatment. (para. 499. Brđanin, p. 182.)
District Court in Banja Luka
Non-Serb civilians were taken from their homes to the basement of the police station, from where they were transferred in an organised manner to the prison at Kozila. (Barović and Adamović, p. 38.)
